On page 9 of their
Supplementary Information about Earnings Release document released on the 25th, Nintendo has committed to a number of anticipated key franchise titles in Japan—yet remains strangely silent for their prospects in North America and elsewhere.
Titles committed for 2008 Japan release—but not yet given a specific date—include:
- Eternal Chronicle (temporary title)
- Fire Emblem (temporary title)
- Advance Wars: Days of Ruin
- Hoshi no Kirby: Ultra Super Deluxe
- Wii Music (temporary title)
- Super Mario Stadium Family Baseball
- Disaster: Day of Crisis
- Animal Crossing (temporary title)
- Batallion Wars 2
- Kirby (temporary title)
Outside Japan, prospects look a bit more bleak. North American release lists show
Mario Kart Wii and
Wii Fit as well as
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games due in the spring, and Europeans can expect Kart at a similar time, otherwise-unspecified 2008 releases for Fit and
Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and an intriguing winter title temporarily known as
DS Novel.
