This long-awaited sequel to cult import hit
Daigasso! Band Brothers—a music game where players use all the DS' buttons and the d-pad to play instruments with a full two-octave range—brings 30 new tracks, 50 usable instruments, touchscreen guitar strumming, and a mic-based karaoke mode that grades your tone.
Six players can play together locally, and Nintendo will offer downloadable tracks via both Japanese Download Stations and online via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. 200 songs will be available for download, and players will be able to store 100 on the game card itself. Its predecessor's Score Edit mode will be making a return, allowing owners to compose their own music to play and share it with others online. A
special Wii Channel will also be released that permits music from the game to be piped through a Wii to a TV's speakers.
