Perrin Kaplan serves as vice president, marketing and corporate affairs for Nintendo of America Inc. In her role, she oversees public relations and key marketing programs, government affairs, investor relations, internal communications, global relations and community relations. She also plays a key role in global coordination.
As a child, one of Kaplan's favorite books was Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle by Betty MacDonald. Kaplan was also very athletic and especially talented at ice skating. Today, she enjoys traveling and has a jewelry business on the side. If she wasn't in marketing, Kaplan says she would have liked to be a writer for Saturday Night Live or a writer/photographer for National Geographic, an astronaut, or even own her own restaurant. Kaplan has one child and hopes to one day adopt another.
